Lionel's Beauty came into our rescue program on July 03, 2013. Lionel's Beauty came from The Edmond Animal Welfare Division along with 10 other horses as a cruelty case. Lionel's Beauty is a Beautiful, Bay, Thoroughbred, Mare. Lionel's Beauty is registered and her date of birth is April 14, 2008. Lionel's Beauty is a body score of a 3. She is infested with internal/external parasites and is mildly anemic. She is super sweet, very smart and loves attention. She loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. Lionel's Beauty was picked for our 3rd Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. She was chosen by Trainer Donnajayne Noble. Donnajayne will be working with Lionel's Beauty for the next 100 days, turning Lionel's Beauty into a dependable riding companion. Donnajayne will be going against 11 Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We also have 7 Youth Trainers competing in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for April 26, 2014 at the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Lionel's Beauty will be available for adoption immediately following the competition on April 26th, 2014. Lionel's Beauty is a sweet girl and loves attention. Lionel's Beauty has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Lionel's Beauty has also been freeze branded and micro chipped for her protection. Update October 2020 Lionel's Beauty was found in an Alabama Kill Pen. Her former adopter took her to a local livestock Auction and sold her with no regard to her life, wellbeing or adoption contract. Someone noticed her brand and contacted us. We immediately purchased her from the kill lot and made arrangements for her to be transported back to us. I'm sure, if you follow Blaze's and know me well enough, you know this infuriates me. We will be filing breach of contract against the former adopter. I'm quite sure this individual thought she would never be noticed in Alabama. I would say, this adopter strongly underestimated the power in her brand. I am so incredibly thankful for our supporters and followers who always immediately let me know when they find one of blaze's branded horses. Lionel's Beauty is back home and we will be taking some time for her to settle in and get reacquainted before we place her back up for adoption. She deserves a wonderful home! Update May 2023 Lionel's Beauty is now seeking her forever, loving home. She looks great! This sweet girl has a lot of love to offer but we would recommend a Companion home only. Lionel's Beauty received some injuries while either at the kill pen or in her former home that does leave her occasionally sore with lameness issues. She is comfortable and still has a lot of quality of life. She just needs a family to love her and give her a wonderful home. Lionel's Beauty is halter broke and broke to lead. She stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Lionel's Beauty has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, dental and hoof maintenance. Lionel's Beauty has been adopted to a wonderful family in Warner, Oklahoma. Lionel's Beauty is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet girl found the forever, loving family she deserves, where she will be showered with love and attention.
